Privacy Policy
SoulBridge · Last updated: 7 August 2026
SoulBridge ("we", "us", "our") operates the SoulBridge mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple and collect only what the App needs to work.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information you provide when you register: full name, nickname, mobile phone number, and (optionally) a profile photo. Date of birth and gender are optional and only collected if you choose to provide them.
- Content you create: posts, comments, photos, activity participation, and profile details you add.
- Device & technical data: device model, operating system version, app version, a push-notification token, and diagnostic logs used to keep the App stable.
- Reports you submit: when you report or block another user, we record the report to keep the community safe.
We do not collect precise background location, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and secure your account and verify your phone number.
- To let you use core features: your profile, activities, community feed, and friends.
- To send you notifications you have enabled.
- To moderate content, review reports, and remove objectionable content or abusive users.
- To diagnose crashes, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the App.
3. Legal Basis
We process your data to provide the service you request (performance of a contract), to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the community safe. Where required, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Sharing of Information
We share information only with:
- Service providers that run our infrastructure (for example, Google Firebase for authentication, database, push notifications, and crash diagnostics). They may process data on our behalf under contract.
- Other users, but only the profile and content you choose to make visible (such as your public posts, nickname and profile photo).
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with the law or to resolve safety reports.
6. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You can access or update your profile inside the App at any time. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by using the in-app contact option or by emailing us at the address below. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
7. Community Safety & User-Generated Content
SoulBridge has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. The App provides tools to report content or users and to block users. Reported content is reviewed and, where it breaches our rules, removed within 24 hours, and offending accounts may be suspended or removed.
8. Children
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
